This magnificent Hobe brooch was made between 1943 & 1948. The carved bone and stained figural is surrounded by a plume of hand wrought gold plated sterling leaves and wirework. This astonishingly beautiful pin is part of a group of Asian figural pins created in the 1940's exclusively by Hobe. Excellent condition. Signed "Hobe -Sterling-14K" on a triangular plaque.
