Wonderful Hobe pendant brooch hand wrought from sterling and bezel set aquamarine stones. A similiar piece is shown in Brunialti's "A Tribute to America - Costume Jewelry 1935-1950" pp. 11,12. Excellent condition. Signed "Hobe -Sterling- -sign pat (design patent)". on a triangular plaque. Pendant portion can be removed and worn from a chain to make a spectacular necklace. Wonderful craftsmanship by one of America's finest jewelers. Dimensions: 3" X 1-3/4". Pendant portion alone is 2-1/4" X 1-1/4".
