Over a decade I was lucky enough to have acquired two of these magnificent pins. Produced by the Rice-Weiner Corporation in the early '40s. This one has a copyright mark which protects the McClelland Barclay name, not the design. This famous pin was first advertised in Mademoiselle in 1941. This is the identically signed pin as shown in Brunialti's "A Tribute To America" pp, 62 & 63 with the copyright after the name. Advertisment is from Sept. 14th, 1941 Mademoiselle.
