Small chain mesh purse which was probably for a chatelaine. Mesh is all intact including the fringe, however, the chain is missing, which can easily be replaced, and the enamel has worn. Frame closes very tightly, but the original silver plate has completely worn off. Circa late 18th - early 19th century. Dimensions: 3-1/2" X 3". Adorable little beaded purse with two elves sitting under a mushroom. Both sides have the same scene. Condition is good with some missing beads and discolored frame and lining. Purse shuts tightly and there are no separations from the frame. Dimensions: 4" X 3" not including fringe.
