Superb figural Hobe brooch was made between 1943 & 1946. Carved and lacquered stained composition figural is surrounded by a plume of hand wrought gold plated sterling leaves and wirework. The workmanship is incredible and makes each one unique This astonishingly beautiful pin is part of a group of Asian figural pins created in the 1940's exclusively by Hobe. Excellent condition.
